The National Renewable Energy Laboratory has issued a solicitation for Letters of Interest (LOI) from individual U.S. small businesses or U.S. small business led teams working on innovative demonstrated PV cell and module prototypes R&D with an emphasis on overcoming barriers to manufacturing scale-up and commercialization. Topic areas may include: novel wafer based silicon modules; polycrystalline thin films; film silicon on a foreign substrate; high-efficiency cells; organic PV; dye-sensitized solar cells or other polymer-based solar cells; low-X concentration CPV systems; nanostructures based concepts; and others.
